For security reasons, AeyeScan only accesses pre-registered domains. If your site contains unregistered domains, those domains will be skipped, and the pages may not be crawled or displayed correctly.
You’ll need to open the “Candidate Crawl/Scan Domains Add” page by clicking the magnifying glass icon (🔍) in the status bar, add the missing domains, and then run the crawl again.
Procedure
- Open the “Candidate Crawl/Scan Domains Add” page
If access to an unregistered domain occurs, a magnifying glass icon (🔍) will appear in the Status column. Open the screen using one of the following methods:
- From Scan List: Scan List > Status > Magnifying Glass Icon (🔍)
- From Scan Details: Scan Details > Status > Magnifying Glass Icon (🔍)
- Review Candidate Domains
Candidate domains are displayed on the screen categorized into four groups, ordered by priority (relevance):
▼Primary domain matches the scan domain
Displays domains with the same main domain (root domain).
Example: If the scanned domain is https://aeyesec.jp→ A link to https://www.aeyesec.jp is found, etc.
▼Domains' registered organization name matches the scan domain
Displays domains whose registered organization name matches that of the scanned domain.
Example: If the registered organization name of the scanned domain is "Aeye Security Lab Inc."
→ A different domain belonging to the same "Aeye Security Lab Inc.", etc.
▼Cloud service API domains
Example: When using Amazon Cognito
→ https://cognito-identity.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com, etc.
▼Other domains
Displays domains that do not fall under any of the categories above (e.g., external authentication).
Example: When using Google Authentication
→ https://myaccount.google.com, https://accounts.google.com, etc.
Select Domains to Add
Locate the required domains from the list and check the appropriate boxes based on your intended use:
- Check "Add Domains Crawl": If you only want to allow access necessary for rendering page content.
- Check "Add Domains Scan" (*): If you want to perform vulnerability assessment (scanning) in addition to allowing access.
*Note: Domain registration must be completed in advance under Domain Management.- Execute Recrawl
Click "Register, Reset, and Re-crawl" to run the recrawl.
