The time required to perform a crawl and scan can vary depending on several factors, including the selected scan speed, the response time of the target site, the number of requests sent, and the number of cookies or parameters involved.
Below are reference values for the number of scan-targeted requests processed per hour, based on actual performance measurements conducted on our demo site (an e-commerce site).
■ Test Conditions
- Scan Rule Set :Web Application Scan + Network Scan
- Crawling Method:Automatic crawling, with the option "Perform both Crawl and Scan" selected
- Target :80 screens (75 requests)
■ Scan Speed vs. Crawl & Scan Duration / Requests Processed per Hour (Reference Values)
| Scan Speed | Estimated Time for Crawl & Scan | Requests Processed per Hour (Approx.) |
| 1 Browser | Approx. 22 hours | ~3.5 requests/hour |
| Slow | Approx. 8 hours | ~9.3 requests/hour |
| Standard | Approx. 5 hours 30 minutes | ~14.5 requests/hour |
| High Speed | Approx. 3 hours 30 minutes | ~21.1 requests/hour |
Note: These values are based on measurements in our demo environment. Actual times may vary depending on the structure of the target site, network conditions, and your crawl/scan configuration.
MEMO
|
For the number of browsers per scan speed and the number of requests per hour, please refer to the following.
*AeyeScan launches multiple browsers to crawl and scan, and the number of browsers launched depends on the scanning speed.
1 Browser
Mainly for sites where simultaneous login is not possible.
Approximately 3 requests / 1 sec.
Slow (3 browsers)
Mainly for production environments.
Approximately 10 requests per 1 sec.
Standard (6 browsers)
Mainly for test environments.
Approximately 20 requests per 1 sec.
High Speed (9 browsers)
Mainly for test environments.
Approximately 30 requests per 1 sec.
Single Login Mode
For sites where there is a restriction on double login with the same account.
Only one browser is launched when crawling. And browsers as many as the registered credentials for regular login are launched when scanning. Approximately 30 requests per 1 sec when 9 credentials are registered.
